Getting to know yourself is where it starts
During my coaching journey, I discovered that coaching is about serving your client. But here is the catch: you can’t serve your client if you can’t serve yourself. That’s where my process of change started, my challenge of self-love and acceptance and my journey towards self-discovery.
What you feed will grow
As I wanted to become a better version of myself and wanted to love and accept myself, I had to get rid of my negativity. See, I was holding on to past conditioning, to past mistakes. By becoming more self aware, I was able to let go of this negativity and replace it with positivity.
There is no failure
You have to be committed if you want to feed your positivity. I discovered that there is no failure, there is just learning. Of course, when in the process of personal development and growth we will fall back into old conditioning, old behavior, or our old belief system. I experienced that it’s not the falling that counts. It’s the getting back up on your feet, and the learning that comes with that, when character is built.
So, now who is Mireille Bergraaf?
In all honesty I do not have a straightforward answer, because I feel that I am still on a journey in discovering who I am. I consider myself a ‘work in progress’.
